Experience with two major practices since 1977 and started own firm in 1989.  Joined Davis Langdon as Director in 2002.  Active in the field of dispute resolution and completed special assignments such as comprehensive feasibility studies, the Training Trade and incorporation of HIV/AIDS Awareness documentation in contract documents.

Gerhard was Chairman of the School for the Built Environment and Head of the Department of Construction Economics at the University of Pretoria until 1 April 2007 when he joined Davis Langdon on a full time basis.
