Colleagues comments included:-
“I am not surprised Davis Langdon is the wining cost consultant, they are a major international firm, involved in many sectors. We do a lot of work with them; they’re pretty consistent. What counts is the back up they have to support our projects”
“Investing in research and in-house development must keep them at the cutting edge. They have a consistent approach; are intelligent in terms of the development of their organisation and sharing best practice”
“All these businesses are global or semi-global and in all regions – the US, Asia, Africa, Australasia and the Middle East. They all deserve to be at the top and are there because people know their name.”
Interviewed by Building Design/World Architecture on the significance of the poll, Alastair Collins, Davis Langdon’s International Managing Partner had this to say:-
“For most awards and polls, you nominate yourself and try to impress the panel judges. This survey appeals because there is no opportunity to do that – and that’s a good thing. So the listings really do reflect what others think, about you.”
‘Best overall quality of service’ is the principal assessment criterion in the poll, which is an indicator to our being seen as the firm, in our field, that internationally, is most consistent and cohesive in our responses to client and colleague needs – accepting that we know there is always more to be done in these essential areas.
First and foremost, this vote is an accolade for all of our people, worldwide, who work in the spirit of collaboration that has made this 15th win possible. – Well done everyone.
This year we also got to contribute some good editorial - provided by Kevin Sims and PH Lai - in respect of the hot markets of Russia and China.
