This mixed-use public beach-club facility on the former site of the historic Julia Morgan-designed Marion Davies beachside estate was conceived as a series of interrelated indoor / outdoor event and garden spaces and supportive beach buildings, woven into and around the existing historic elements on the five-acre site. The project involved rehabilitation of the historic Marion Davies Guest House and pool, as well as construction of new recreation and event spaces.
The project has achieved LEED Gold.
